  • Oranssi project: studio shed

    PLATING

    Silver and nickel plating for worn-out plating on instrument keywork and/or instrument body.

    CLEAN-OIL-ADJUST (COA)

    -Disassembly of the instrument’s keys

    -Removal of old oil from steel rods and reapplication of new oil

    -Hand polishing of keys and joints

    -Oiling of each tone hole and the bore on wooden instruments

    -Pad adjustment

    Warranty: Three-month warranty for any adjustments related to the work provided by the technician.

We’re happy to give you the most accurate estimate once we see your instrument in person. In the meantime, we can provide a general estimate based on the description you share with us. Please note that we only specialize in woodwind instruments—flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, and saxophone (including auxiliary instruments).

We started as a music academy in 2020, but by the next year, our focus had shifted to instrument repairs. Since 2021, we’ve been dedicated to providing quality woodwind repairs for the Lynchburg community and beyond. As two owners with doctorates in musical arts, we know firsthand how tough it can be to learn or perform on an instrument that isn’t well maintained. As a small, family-owned business, we prioritize quality over quantity, which means we can only take on a limited number of instruments at a time. Thank you for supporting us on this journey!”
